    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Tele Cardiac position requiring a current AL or compact license and two years of recent specialty experience.

    Responsibilities
    Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac patients
    Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    Work is on the 6 North unit
    Assignment duration is 13 weeks
    Uses Meditech electronic medical record system
    Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
    Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules; no HealthStream modules required prior to start
    Cardiac exam link will be sent within 48 hours after offer acceptance and must be completed within 24 hours
    Timekeeping is managed through Centricity

    Requirements
    Active AL or compact RN license required at the time of consideration; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
    No current or previous disciplinary actions or 'hits' on licenses allowed
    Minimum of two years of RN experience, with at least one year recent experience in Med/Surg Tele or Cardiac specialty
    Successful completion of a cardiac exam is required after offer acceptance
    Resume, SSN, government-issued ID, license verification, skills checklist, and two recent references must be provided for consideration
