    Job Description: As an Occupational Therapist at Fort Riley, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive therapy services to military personnel and their families. Your primary focus will be to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients achieve their maximum level of independence and function. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for your patients.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities and limitations.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
    • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and exercises.
    • Monitor and record patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists.
    • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
    • Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in Kansas.
    • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to improving patients' quality of life.
