    Description

    Essential duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to:

    • Production lead may fill in for supervisor during their absence
    • Knowledgeable and capable of the speed and efficiency necessary to complete all work in a timely manner
    • Lead person will direct activities and train other departmental employees, as well as assist with new hires
    • Possess full knowledge and hands-on skill to perform all work within the assigned department
    • Segregate usable metal and wood pieces, storage and reuse
    • Ensure all parts are assembled in compliance with quality standards
    • Contributes to 6S process (Sort, Shine, Straighten, Standardize, Sustain, Safety)
    • Cross trains with other departments
    • Complies with EHS policies
    • All other duties as assigned

    Physical Effort/requirements:

    • Display the ability to safely handle all panels and parts used in assembly
    • Display the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
    • Display the ability to climb a ladder
    • Display a full range of physical motion
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods
    • Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices

    Recommended Training/Education

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Skillsets in Communication, Leadership, and Manufacturing
