    Job DescriptionDescription:

    As a Plumbing Purchasing Clerk, you will use detailed and organization skills to process a moderate volume of data entry. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial plumbing supplies and be responsible for entering data accurately and efficiently into our database. This position will report to the Plumbing Purchasing Manager and will support the wholesale purchasing team with clerical functions of the department.

    Responsibilities

    • Accurately enter data into the databases
    • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness
    • Assist with creating plumbing purchase orders
    • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding updates on materials
    • Assist with inventory management as needed
    • Maintain purchasing records and files
    • Perform other clerical duties as assigned to support the operations of the department
    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • One or more years of data entry or clerical experience within a wholesale plumbing environment
    • Above average attention to detail
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM alphanumerically
