Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer REA to contribute to the mechanical technical team for a common Guidance Unit Stack. The successful candidate will maintain mechanical Technical Data Package configuration changes drive producibility updates support failure investigations support alternate component and material evaluations and testing provide support across full spectrum of mechanical environmental structural thermal engineering disciplines.Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science Technology Engineering Mathematics STEM and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or advanced degree related field minimum 3 years experience.
- Five years' experience in mechanical design design documentation Experience with CAD tools modeling drawing Experience with Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing GD&T per ANSI Y14.5 Experience packaging electronics assemblies Knowledge environmental testing hardware performance validation including structural thermal analysis Ability obtain maintain US security clearance U.S citizenship required only U.S citizens eligible security clearance.
