    Job Description

    Abilene, Texas, United States

    Scope/Contacts

    This position will work with all holding company banks and bank personnel. Contacts are regularly with persons outside of their own department or work group, but generally of a routine nature. Tact and diplomacy is a necessary consideration.

    Essential Functions


    The candidate will be expected to write code, work with team members, and follow process to ensure the changes are both unit tested and UAT tested and promoted to production while keeping management informed as to task/project progress.

    This person will also work with the support team as issues arise, for troubleshooting/resolution purposes.


    Work with Project Managers, Development Managers, Business Analysts, Stakeholders and other team members on various tasks needed to accomplish corporate, department, and team objectives.

    Create documentation appropriate to the intended audience.
    Follow departmental and team processes relating to code migrations and requests for support.
    Manage multiple priorities and change as needed to respond to the business.
    Work independently or in a team environment.
    Maintain customer relationships.
    Manage tasks to deadlines.
    Communicate appropriately with other team members as well as management.
    Troubleshoot and enhance code which was written by other team members.


    This job requires a combination of analytical and critical thinking abilities, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

    Incumbent has no supervision over other employees. Actively supports the values of the organization and follows established company policies and procedures.

    Minimum Qualifications

    A Bachelor's degree in the computer related field or equivalent experience.
    Ability to learn to program in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL
    Understanding of .NET Frameworks VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET
    Understanding of Web and Windows Forms, Stored Procedures, Visual Studio.
    Should possess strong communications skills, be goal oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to produce results
    Ability to learn development technologies such as WCF, MVC, Javascript, Jquery T-SQL and others.
    Must display troubleshooting skills that can start with an issue and systematically isolate and rule out possibilities in search of the solution
    Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well alone and on a team in a high-pressure environment
    Should also be able handle multiple projects simultaneously, and change priorities as needed
    The incumbent should be reliable, demonstrate initiative, flexible, and maintain confidentiality, accurate, strong communication skills, creative and courteous.
