    Procurement Manager

    Optomi, in partnership with a financial services client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for their Fort Worth, TX location This Procurement Manager will be involved in policy, documentation, and third party risk management. The right candidate will have 6-8 years of experience

    Responsibilities of the candidate:

    • Involved in process, documentation, and third-party risk management.
    • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and documentation.
    • Create and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs), contract templates, and compliance guidelines.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with third-party vendors and contracts.
    • Develop risk management strategies and protocols to ensure compliance and minimize disruptions.
    • Review and negotiate technology contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with legal and information security teams to address contract terms related to data security and intellectual property rights.

    Experience of the Right Candidate:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • 6-8 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related area.
    • Strong understanding of technology contracts and negotiation tactics.
    • Experience with policy development, documentation management, and process improvement.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Certification in procurement or contract management (e.g., CSCP, CPM) is a plus.
