    Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

    Location: Saugus, California

    Type: Full-Time

    Job Description:

    Saugus, California, is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join their team. You will have the chance to deliver top-notch speech and language services to students in the local school district.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills, pinpointing strengths and areas needing attention.
    • Create personalized treatment plans to meet each student's communication needs using proven methods and innovative strategies.
    • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups, fostering skill growth and effective communication.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' academic and social-emotional well-being.
    • Track student progress through continuous assessment, adapting treatment plans for optimal results.
    • Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing records.
    • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to student educational plans.
    • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
    • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in California.
    • California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board (SLPAB) certification or eligibility.
    • California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools or eligibility.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility.
    • Thorough understanding of educational policies, procedures, and regulations in special education.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Preferably, experience in educational settings with diverse student populations.
