- High School Diploma or an equivalent
- Proficient in the English language
- Two or more years of experience operating mills and lathes with the ability to make a bushing with little to no Supervision.
- Some CNC Machine operating experience. (Years of education will be considered.)
- This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulationsROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate manual machines; mills and lathes
- Machine parts within 0.0005" tolerance.
- Fabricate and repair high tolerance bushings
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans and other technical data
- Requisite and maintain raw materials and tools
- May be some setup and operation of CNC (HAAS) machine
- Routinely perform preventative maintenance on machines and repair as needed
- Wear proper personal protective equipment as necessary
- Communicate daily with other team members
- May be required to work an occasional weekend or evening shift to meet deadlinesSKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
