    Summary: The Senior Systems Engineer will be a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Pyramid's computer systems and networks.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement and maintain the organization's computer systems and networks, including servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
    • Design, configure and administer Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD and related cloud compute environment
    • Configure and maintain ADFS / Okta / IDP tools and environment
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure high availability and stability including storage/SAN environments.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
    • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
    • Manage and maintain the organization's security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management systems.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
    • Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those requirements.
    • Manage and mentor junior IT systems engineers, providing guidance and training as needed.
    • Participate in the planning and implementation of large-scale IT projects.

    Required Qualifications

    Education, Licensure, & Experience

    • Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field or comparable work experience.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience with advanced systems engineering

    • Strong technical skills, including expertise in operating systems, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies, are essential for success in this role.
    • Excellent problem-solving, and leadership skills are required to effectively collaborate with other stakeholders
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability with 3rd party cloud security and identity solutions including Okta.
    • Experience with Microsoft Cloud Platform Security - users, groups and roles
    • Virtualization computing environments including HyperV and VMWare
    • Interest in learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks
    • Knowledge of application deployment process is a plus including PowerShell and modern deployment tools
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 environment
    • Cisco Meraki Knowledge is a plus
    • UCaaS knowledge is a plus

    Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
