- Responsible for identifying problems and making repairs to district HVAC/Refrigeration equipment and providing training to maintenance workers in HVAC/Refrigeration repairs.
- Repairs HVAC/Refrigeration equipment (including a compressor).
- Develops and maintains a preventive maintenance program on all district HVAC/Refrigeration equipment and related mechanical/electrical equipment.
- Assists in the supervision of contracted services by outside contractors.
- Develops and maintains an inventory of spare parts for equipment repairs.
- Repairs ATC pneumatic and electrical controls.
- Responsible for heating, Plumbing, and electrical repairs as assigned
- Supervises maintenance employees assigned to assist the technician.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings and Grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate; demonstrates knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration and ATC controls; 10 years experience in the mentioned fields or alternative experience as acceptable to the Board; valid New Jersey driver's license; New Jersey Black Seal Boiler license Preferred or must be acquired within 24 months of hiring; EPA universal refrigerant certification.
