    Description

    Maintain safe, orderly lab and environment; prepare lab samples; assist students with equipment operation and lab activities; maintain, set up, and repair lab equipment.
    Document activities and solutions to issues via email, written reports, etc.
    Lab equipment includes but is not limited to the following: microcontrollers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, soldering irons, 3D printers, CNC milling machines, programmable logic controllers, Rockwell hardness tester, specimen mounting press, orbital polisher, polariscope, tensile tester, microscopes, and furnace.Education, Experience And Other Requirements

    Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot issues.
    Must be able to learn new equipment independently as needed using manuals, online resources, etc

    Familiarity with any of the above equipment, programming (MATLAB, C++, python, etc.), CAD, electronics, and hand tools.

    Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
    Copies of transcripts may be required at time of interview. Original hard copies of transcripts will be required at time of hire

    Successfully completed one full-time semester as a program-ready student in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program.
