    Software Integration Engineer

    Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

    Position Summary:

    As a senior technical and business expert that has ambition in driving software development processes within our organization, this role requires a deep understanding of technical solutions in alignment with present and future business needs. We are looking for someone who can collaborate with diverse project teams, leveraging both new and existing technology to deliver customer-focused IT solutions. This role involves navigating complex issues spanning multiple applications and data sources; overseeing application development, deployment, and monitoring; and spearheading process enhancements. The Software Integration Engineer also fosters knowledge-sharing within the team through mentorship, coaching, technical discussions, and training.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    + Be at the forefront of software development, engaging in analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and modification of new software or enhancements tailored to organizational needs.

    + Utilize existing technical foundations to engineer creative solutions to complex problems and establish enterprise integration architectural standards and procedures.

    + Demonstrate proficiency in managing software, software platforms, and development environments, coupled with the ability to take initiative in researching solutions and driving optimizations.

    + Excel as a top-level technical expert and advisor, specializing in developing applications, building and interacting with software APIs, and troubleshooting applications and operating environments.

    + Engage in complex application analysis, design, and automation, requiring a high level of creativity, latitude, and accountability.

    + Work alongside IT professionals and business experts to tackle complex business problems with available technology, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.

    + Maintain exemplary communications and working relationships with other members of the Covenant Health IT Management team.

    + Formulate systems architecture plans, estimate costs, and ensure projects meet strategic needs.

    + Proficiency in deploying and managing backend systems such as C#/.NET, NodeJS, Python and PHP applications in production environments.

    + Skilled in building web applications using JavaScript, HTML, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and FrontEnd Frameworks (Angular and React).

    + Experience with writing and executing unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

    + Working knowledge of version control tools such as Git, Subversion, etc.

    + Proficient in SQL server, with the ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.

    + Solid understanding of IT security principles and practices. Experience with HIPAA regulations is desirable.

    + Experience with audit tools and techniques for ensuring data integrity and security.

    + Experience with designing responsive web applications for desktop and mobile devices.

    + Knowledge of generative AI techniques and frameworks.

    + Knowledge of ColdFusion.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    Bachelors Degree required or equivalent years of work experience

    Minimum Experience:

    T en (10) years of increasing responsibility in related work experience is required. Proficient in C#, Net Framework/Core, ASP.Net, Angular/Java Script frameworks, SQL Server/Queries, SOLID Principals. Familiarity with internet protocols and OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities.
