    Description

    Job Title: MRI Technologist

    Skill Level: Intermediate

    Location: Port Orchard, Washington

    Durations: 13 weeks (40 hours/week)

    Shift: 10 hours/day

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Port Orchard, Washington. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring patient safety.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images
    • Position patients and coils on the table that slides inside the MRI scanner
    • Inject contrast media as required
    • Set appropriate technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors during scans
    • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines

    Requirements

    • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
    • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
    • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
    • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology

    Salary and Benefits

    $85,000 - $110,000 per year
