    As a Proposal Engineer/Inside Sales Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in the sales process, particularly when dealing with intricate technical equipment or services. Your tasks will include:

    • Consulting with current and potential clients, as well as the business development team, to comprehensively grasp equipment needs and system requirements.
    • Crafting or aiding in the creation of presentations and other materials to effectively communicate products and services to customers.
    • Taking the lead in the quoting process by collaborating with internal engineering and production teams to generate quotations for equipment.
    • Estimating the necessary engineering and shop labor hours for the design and construction of new equipment.
    • Obtaining material quotes and/or providing estimates for purchased components.
    • Offering expertise and assistance to sales teams in conveying product benefits, services, and addressing client requirements.
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction by potentially suggesting product modifications and proposing improved materials or products along with their associated benefits.
    • Assisting in the preparation of product orders and coordinating delivery schedules.
    • Contributing to research and development efforts for new products.
    • Carrying out any other relevant duties as assigned.
    • Occasional travel requirement: up to 10% for both domestic and international purposes.

    Qualifications Required:

    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant product or sales experience.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong sales and customer service abilities, demonstrated by the capacity to elucidate technical products to non-technical individuals.
    • Application of engineering, technology, or related principles to facilitate product sales.
    • Proficiency in organizational tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Capability to interpret engineering drawings.
    • Basic proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) skills.
