- Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, embolization, biopsies, drain insertions, and vascular interventions.
- Prepare the interventional radiology suite and equipment for procedures, ensuring that all necessary supplies and instrumentation are available and properly functioning.
- Position patients and provide appropriate immobilization or support to ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or in a similar role.
