- Experience with modeling renewable generation and inverter-based resources Advanced knowledge of power system planning and operations
- Strong background in electrical distribution systems
- Experience with distribution automation and Smart Grid strategies
- Familiarity with power system analysis software tools
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Experience in utility consulting and NERC Compliance Studies
- Leadership in technical committees and standard working groups
- Compliance with Eaton's safety program
- Availability for travel up to 25% of the time
- Completion of background and drug screenings
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Ability to advise customers on technical matters

What you'll do:

Eaton boasts the largest and most experienced team of power system engineers in the industry, equipped with state-of-the-art software and advanced modeling and analysis tools. By actively participating in technical societies and collaborating with various utilities and industries, our engineers are well-versed in the latest engineering techniques.
As a Power System Advisory Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expertise and technical support for engineering studies on electric distribution and transmission systems, shaping the grid of the future by offering consulting services related to grid modernization and DER integration for utility clients.
