Description
B&W is looking for a Controls Engineer.This position will be responsible for a wide range of product support roles including:
controls project development, configuration, installation, startup and troubleshooting on a range of B&W products within the utility, pulp and paper, and industrial markets.
This position will be responsible for:§ Development, configuration, testing, startup, and troubleshooting of control systems composed of: PLC's (ControlLogix & RSLogix 5000), AC/DC drives (PowerFlex), Servo Drives (Kinetics), HMI screens (FactoryTalk View), camera systems, electrical circuits, and associated mechanical equipment.
§ Maintaining existing controls products as well as developing new products and features.
§ Developing and delivering technical training to customers
§ Providing drafting support using AutoCAD and Inventor.
This position requires you to travel up to 25% of the time. Working both independently and in a team environment within B&W and at customer sites.
This is position provides great job variety in which the Engineer supports a wide array of controls products and mechanical systems within several industries.
