    Reports To: VP, Digital Audience

    Location: New York City

    Salary: $90,000-$100,000

    This is a full-time Hybrid position (3 days in the office) offering a competitive salary, healthcare, and a benefits package.

    Are you obsessed with pop-culture and entertainment? Join our team We are seeking a Sr. SEO Manager for our entertainment brands (Us Weekly, InTouch and Life & Style). As a Senior SEO Manager at a360media, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our digital footprint and driving organic search performance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement effective SEO strategies, analyze data, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure our online visibility and search rankings are consistently optimized. You will have the opportunity to establish best-in-class SEO operations to drive digital audience growth and acquisition from organic search channels. The ideal candidate is a SEO subject matter expert who has experience leading content strategy at a major media brand or publisher. In this role, you will elevate and expand the search presence of well-regarded media titles. You must be a savvy self-starter who loves building from the ground up, leverages data and has excellent communication skills.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Develop long and short-term strategic roadmaps for organic search. Ensure alignment with key partners across digital and content teams.
    • Maintain a set of Standard SEO Requirements and ensure they are followed by editors. Develop processes and communications to evaluate if content matches user intent.
    • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify valuable opportunities and optimize existing content for targeted keywords. Keeps a pulse on the entertainment industry to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Partner with other digital marketing channels to identify synergies and optimization opportunities that lead to increases in incremental traffic and conversion.
    • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and platforms, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve results across Google properties (Search, Discover, News)
    • Subject matter expertise in SEO. Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Work with external agencies and consultants on comprehensive audits of our entertainment brands (Us Weekly, Life & Style, InTouch) to identify shortcomings/opportunities (site speed, internal linking,information architecture, etc.). Create a plan and roadmap to address results of audits.
    • Conduct deep-dives and audits into topical focus areas. Provide clear takeaways and direction to the content team.
    • Work closely with content and product teams to implement on-page and technical SEO recommendations, ensuring optimal website performance.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to create detailed analytics reports on SEO performance, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.
    • Support technical SEO (page indexing, site structure, crawling) as needed including QA.
    • Clearly able to articulate the priority and importance of SEO to internal groups. Act as an SEO evangelist internally across functions to ensure we have the right foundations for content & products.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience as an SEO Manager with 3-5 years of experience and a track record of driving organic growth for a news media publisher.
    • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
    • Able to clearly articulate business results from SEO investments using data.
    • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website platforms to implement SEO recommendations effectively.
    • Proficiency and knowledge of search analytics tools (Google Analytics, GSC, Looker, Screaming Frog, NewzDash, Trisolute, SEMrush, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb)
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence in order to build partnerships as well as drive initiatives internally
