The Information Security Analyst position in Des Moines, IA, is a temporary role with a hybrid work model. If you're into cybersecurity and have skills in firewall, IDS, and overall security, this opportunity might be for you.

Required Skills/Attributes:

Knowledge of security technologies such as firewall, IDS, policy management, and security best practices - 4 Years

Understanding of common and emerging attack methods, penetration techniques, and countermeasures - 4 Years

Experience in conflict resolution, incident escalation, and customer-centric problem-solving - 4 Years

Ability to handle complex issues, provide professional service, and maintain integrity in diverse environments - 4 Years

Capability to work independently, collaboratively, and in multidisciplinary settings - 4 Years

The primary role of the Information Security Analyst is to act as the frontline responder to security incidents and occasional IT issues. You'll be part of the Security Operations Center team, assisting in incident management and response coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in incident handling processes including discovery, analysis, containment, recovery, and coordination

Collaborate with different teams to resolve identified incidents

Communicate intelligence findings to relevant parties

Logistics:
