    Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring several Picker-Packer clerks to be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by accurately and efficiently picking items from warehouse shelves or bins, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for delivery. This opportunity offers a 9 to 5:30am shift. Weekends might be needed. For immediate consideration, apply today.

    Responsibilities:

    Picking Orders:

    • Retrieve items from warehouse shelves or bins based on order specifications.
    • Ensure accuracy in picking the correct quantity and type of products.
    • Utilize handheld devices or picking lists to locate items.

    Packing Orders:

    • Inspect items for defects or damages before packing.
    • Package items securely to prevent damage during transportation.
    • Use appropriate packaging materials and methods according to order requirements.

    Quality Control:

    • Conduct quality checks to ensure orders are accurate and complete.
    • Verify product codes, quantities, and expiration dates (if applicable).
    • Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.

    Inventory Management:

    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • Alert management to low stock levels or damaged goods.
    • Help with periodic stock counts and audits as required.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Follow company policies and guidelines for handling hazardous materials (if applicable).
    • Comply with regulatory standards and guidelines for warehouse operations.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding workload, issues, or concerns.
    • Support other warehouse functions as needed, such as receiving, stocking, or shipping.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is preferred.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
    • Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory.
    • Proficiency in using handheld devices or inventory management systems.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Bilingual english/spanish is a huge plus
    • Willing to commute to Inglewood, close to company
    • Also, you must be able to pass BG and DT
