    We are searching for a high level Maintenance Manager to lead a team in all aspects of equipment maintenance within a dynamic mining and construction environment.     salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year

    shift: First

    work hours: 6:30 AM - 5 PM

    education: High School

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to develop the skills and expertise of maintenance personnel.
    • Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize downtime disruptions.
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all mining and construction equipment, including heavy machinery, vehicles, and facilities.
    • Conduct regular inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and schedule repairs and replacements as needed to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
    • Utilize predictive maintenance techniques, such as condition monitoring and data analysis, to identify potential failures and address them proactively.
    • Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, forecasting expenses, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost-effective maintenance solutions.
    • Source and procure necessary parts, tools, and equipment, maintaining inventory levels and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-efficient maintenance operations.

    The essential functions of this role include:
