    Job SummarySportech offers qualified engineering students a real-world experience working in an innovative program designed to enhance academic experience, professional growth, and personal development.

    Students will be actively involved in concurrent engineering with Sportech's customers and suppliers with fundamental exposure to an array of applications.

    Essential Job FunctionsWork one on one with Manufacturing engineers on development of new or existing manufacturing processes, including CAD work, prototype testing, fixture and tooling creation, and data acquisitionDevelop torque capabilities matrix by testing, compiling, and reporting dataTake feedback from production and design processes for easier manufacturabilityPropose updates to current line layoutsDesign and build assembly fixtures using CADCollaborate across multiple departments to propose changes to drive material flow improvementsAssist in creating work instructions for productionPartner with production to solve problems and help efficiency of processesWork on continuous improvement initiatives and LEAN principles Requirements Participant must be currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics, Industrial, Packaging Engineering degree or related field programParticipant must hold Junior or Senior standingParticipant must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.
