Typical Day in the LifeAs a Tax Senior Associate in Omaha, NE, your typical day might include:Preparing tax returns for multi-million dollar organizations or individuals.
Collaborating with the tax team on tax planning, client interaction, and special tax projects. Gathering relevant tax information from clients for accurate tax return preparation. Analyzing tax situations to maximize tax benefits. Generating accounting-related reports through a paperless office environment. Attending professional development and training seminars regularly.Non-Negotiable RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting Active CPA license or actively pursuing one 3-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipNice-to-Have SkillsDetailed tax preparation experience with individual and business income tax returns Passion for public accounting and staying updated on tax industry changes
Qualifications:
You possess detailed tax preparation experience with individual and business income tax returns. You thrive in public accounting and stay updated on evolving tax regulations and policies. You take pride in assisting others.
Additionally, you hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and maintain an active CPA license (or are actively pursuing one); enrolled agent certification is also accepted.
You have 3-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work. You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
