    Valero is looking for a

    Manager Wholesale Pricing

    to join the Wholesale Marketing team at the Valero headquarters in San Antonio.

    The Manager Wholesale Pricing manages and guides the pricing team responsible for providing accurate and timely Branded and Unbranded pricing for the US racks.


    Daily activities may include:


    Provides sales estimates to execute paper for the hedge, and corrects pricing issues associated with posted pricing in a timely manner.

    Manages and guides the team responsible for setting the daily Branded and Unbranded posted prices.
    Works with analytical teams on statistical sales, price projections and to drive process improvements.
    Develops and manages Branded pricing strategies in conjunction with the Sales team.
    Develops and manages Unbranded pricing strategies based on allocations and supply positions.
    Ensures prices meet regulatory limits during State of Emergencies.
    Manages and guides the team providing daily sales estimates for the hedge and manages process to minimize losses.

    Works with the IT department and reporting teams to develop tools, reports and dashboards that facilitate and create efficiencies within the work processes.

    Ensures all pricing issues associated with the posted prices are addressed.
    Manage highly volatile markets through mid-day adjustments including coordination with Allocations and Sales.
    Understand secondary costs and determination of margin.
    Communicates effectively and efficiently to all stakeholders to meet business demands.
    This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree required.
    10+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or in Pricing required.
    3+ years of supervisory experience required.
    Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero San Antonio location, required.
    Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
