- Perform routine histology procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines
- Prepare slides for examination by pathologists, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of test results
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Histology Technician or in a related role
- Proficiency in histology techniques and procedures
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
