    A well-established Security Integrator, boasting extensive experience in the Audio, Video, and Security sector, is currently in search of a skilled Security Installer. As part of this role, you'll be tasked with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Axis Communications, , Genetec, Liftmaster, Access Control, PDK, and DMP systems for our valued clients.     Job Duties:

    • Install and configure security system components, such as cameras, access control panels, intrusion detection devices, and other related equipment.
    • Mount and position devices according to design plans and client requirements.
    • Run and terminate cabling for data and power connections.
    • Ensure proper integration and connectivity between different system components.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks on security systems to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Conduct system inspections, testing, and cleaning to identify and resolve issues or malfunctions.
    • Replace faulty or damaged components as needed.
    • Stay updated with the latest technology and industry trends to recommend system upgrades or enhancements.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot security system issues reported by clients or detected during routine maintenance.
    • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of problems.
    • Repair or replace faulty components, cables, or connections.
    • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
    • Integrate security systems with other relevant systems, such as video management software, access control systems, and alarm monitoring systems.
    • Configure system settings and parameters for proper functionality and compatibility.
    • Test and verify system integrations to ensure seamless operation.
    • Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
    • Complete required documentation, including installation checklists, equipment inventories, and service reports.
    • Generate reports on system status, maintenance activities, and incidents encountered during service calls.

    Requirements:

    • Technical certifications or training in security systems, electronics, or related fields preferred.
    • Knowledge of security system components and installation procedures.
    • Proficiency in cabling installation and termination.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings and specifications.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Physical fitness for installation tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.
