Job summary
Sou chef assists the executive chef in overseeing all kitchen operations ensuring food quality consistency and presentation meet established standards.This role helps lead train and support the culinary team while maintaining a clean organized and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the executive chef in daily kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during prep and service
- Create and manage schedules for back-of-house staff ensuring proper coverage for all shifts prep work and service periods
- Maintain cleanliness organization compliance with SCDA DHEC local health department standards
