    Five plus (5+) years experience in the skillset or a related IT career fieldDescriptionSeeking a business analyst to help maintain the USSOUTHCOM Enterprise System in Doral FL.

    The work entails analyzing business and technical requirements, complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of enterprise operations.

    By providing this direct support to SOUTHCOM (a combatant command) you help keep its mission on the tip of the spear.

    This position supports SOUTHCOM's transformative move to a Zero Trust Architecture in alignment with the DoD Zero Trust Strategy and Executive Order (EO Your work enables the government customer to conduct business in defense of U.S. policies and directives in the Caribbean, Central and South American area of responsibility.


    ResponsibilitiesTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:


    Elicit, gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements and process workflowsCreate and update documentation for existing and new information technology systems (e.g., requirements analysis, use cases, user stories, and level of effort/resource estimates)Analyze detailed system factors, including input/output requirements, information flow, hardware/software requirements, and reliability characteristicsPerform complex administrative and analytical tasksMonitor and report performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are metInteract regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirementsEvaluate current ITIL ITSM environment and existing processes using industry best practices to improve and simplify processesProvide ITIL best practice service management consulting at a strategic, design, and operational levelDevelop strategies to eliminate gaps in service while improving efficiency and effectivenessPerform gap analysis, identify risk, provide risk remediation strategies, and provide recommendations to improve processesChampion organizational change and adoption of service management best practices by providing coaching and training to ingrain processes into the cultureProvide guidance and implements processes and artifacts for Service Strategy, Service Design, Continual Service Improvement, and Quality Assurance processesProvide project management expertise to support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and new Information Technology (IT) requirementsCreate clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraintsDevelop the overall project plan, resource loading, project schedule, and manage project operationsManage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, and project conflictsEnsure proper communications are established between customers, teams, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology servicesEnsure team members know and execute their respective roles and resources are used effectivelyPlan, execute, and close projects on-time and within the established scope of customer objectivesCoordinate resolution of operations related issuesAdditional duties as requiredRequired QualificationsTS-SCI can start with a Secret clearanceFive plus (5+) years experience the skillset or a related IT career fieldBachelors Degree in a related technical discipline or commensurate level of experience based on position levelProject Management Professional (PMP) & ITIL v4 FoundationDesired QualificationsExperience working in the DoD or Federal landscapeTechnically inclined, able to gain proficiency with disparate business applications quickly (Microsoft Project/Visio, ServiceNow, etc.)Able to maintain clear communication with a diverse team of individuals and eloquently communicate complex topics to non-technical individualsIs a leader and comfortable coordinating diverse teams of individualsHighly organized and able to maintain structure and efficiency even in chaotic environmentsA problem-solver and able to resolve issues without granular directionFlexible and able to multi-task effectively to meet delivery requirements on time in an often-shifting landscapeExperience with direct customer support for both internal and external customersExperience working with enterprise information technology infrastructure including but not limited to data center operations, server hardware, operating systems, virtualization, networking, storage, monitoring, automation, etcAbout PingWindPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
