    Project Engineer

    Job Overview

    We're thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned AV Project Engineer who is self-driven and experienced in delivering integrated systems within deadlines, budget constraints, and with utmost client satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    Unified Communications Engineering: proficient in setting up and deploying platforms like MS Teams, Zoom, and Webex, including providing support for network and backend configurations.

    Review proposals, system descriptions, BOMs, and other sales materials.

    Attend kickoff and site coordination meetings.

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations during site visits.

    Adhere to project schedules set by Project Managers.

    Confirm equipment selection for system functionality.

    Generate job controls for Purchasing based on confirmed BOMs.

    Determine cable and connector quantities and create cable risers.

    Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    Prepare sketches for facility and electrical drawing packages.

    Coordinate with various parties to ensure infrastructure readiness.

    Work with the Programming team to align system functionality.

    Create audio DSP files and review systems during QA processes.

    Assist in creating as-built drawing sets.

    Additional Responsibilities

    Serve as a technical resource for other departments.

    Conduct equipment research and testing.

    Provide peer review of drawings.

    Liaise with manufacturers for equipment issues.

    Conduct site surveys and attend relevant training sessions.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 3 years of AV or videoconferencing design experience.

    Professional certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, and CTS-I.

    Proficiency in systems integration techniques.

    Strong experience in video, audio control systems, IT, and networking.

    Familiarity with AutoCAD.

    Expertise in programming audio DSP units.

    Experience with Crestron and AMX code and interfaces.

    Basic understanding of IP networking and troubleshooting.

    Ability to multitask with excellent customer-facing skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
