    POSTING POSITION: Recruiter / Talent Acquisition

    REPORTS TO: Office Director

    LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN

    IBS is a nationally recognized specialized general contractor in electrical, fire, and HVAC systems. We provide a life cycle of services including consulting, engineering, construction, commissioning, maintenance, and training throughout North America.

    ABOUT THIS ROLE:

    As an EOS "Traction" company (Right Person/Right Seat) the successful candidate is a fully competent and successful talent acquisition expert.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Proactively sources candidates through internal and external vehicles: university relations, candidate pipelines, networking, internet job postings, employee referrals, external partners, and other creative sourcing venues.
    • Implements and uses tools to support the IBS recruiting/interviewing process – candidate slates, interview question guides, robust and brand appropriate job postings, employer brand collateral/videos, etc.
    • Proactively creates and updates a candidate pipeline for key positions that support the business.
    • Responsible for driving the attraction, interview, and hiring process from position launch through offer acceptance.
    • Screens, assesses, and presents candidates to Leadership Team to move forward with the interview and selection process.
    • Manage the candidate experience through seamless execution of interview process; arranges timely interviews for the interview panel members and candidates.
    • Leads the candidate calibration conversation with the Office Director to identify final candidate.
    • Responsible for finalizing offer process, offer creation, and seamless communication to all stakeholders.

    ABOUT YOU:

    You are the right person in the right seat if you have demonstrated skills that reflect our core values: We CARE, We LISTEN, We ANTICIPATE, We INNOVATE, and We DO. You bring a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a recruiter and/or talent acquisition expert. You have proven experience of identifying the right person for the right seat based on IBS required soft skills and hard skills.

    • Self-starter – This individual will work in an environment where not all processes and procedures have been developed. It is expected that this person will bring forward ideas to improve what has been developed. When this person needs help, it is up to this individual to seek it.
    • Creativity – you are a creative problem solver.
    • Influencer – high level of expertise to influence potential applicants.
    • Humor – our office environment is relaxed yet professional; a good sense of humor is required to fit within the culture.
    • Phone Persona – This person will be involved in prescreening calls with prospects. As such, their communication style needs to be effective and appealing during phone calls.

    You possess meticulous work habits including close attention to detail, time management, people skills, problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational skills, ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing via Microsoft Office applications (mainly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.

    Education: High School diploma and/or college in a related field.

    Experience: Minimum ten (10) years working in a recruiter and/or talent acquisition role.
