Description

Job Title: Medical Assistant at Kaua'i Medical Clinic

Kaua'i Medical Clinic is the island's largest clinic and only multispecialty medical group. More than 85 physicians and midlevel providers offer primary and specialty care at clinic locations in Eleele, Kapaa, Koloa and Lihue.

Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) is a national advanced primary care medical home model focusing on strengthening primary care through regionally-based multi-payer payment reform and care delivery transformation.
Successful population management depends on a high-functioning team that shares a vision of a healthier patient empowered to manage their health with the help of the Care Team.
As a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside dedicated professionals providing comprehensive health services to patients and families, performing a wide range of patient care activities.

Location: Kauai Medical Clinic, Lihue, HI

Work Schedule: Day - 8 Hours

Work Type: Full Time Regular

Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining

Exempt: No

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with recognized organizations. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
One (1) year back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician's office, or related setting.
