- Communicates effectively with all departments to achieve efficient and effective processing of customer orders and the ability to meet customer promise dates.
- Assists in establishing both personal and departmental goals, objectives, and activities.
- Participates in sales training for dealers, customers, and new salespeople.
- Assists in developing and executing sales plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit, growth, and expansion of sales of company products and/or services.
- Maintains current accounts and solicits new accounts through written, personal, and telephone contact.
- Utilizes manufacturing database to research availability of product and processes orders as efficiently and correctly as possible.
- Provides current information on products, applications, and services, helping current and prospective buyers with technical concerns and/or problems. Provides accurate quotations and writes accurate and complete orders.
- Assists in training customers to operate and maintain equipment and products.
- Participates in trade shows, conferences, seminars, and other education opportunities.

Job DescriptionUniversal Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Sales Team as a Material Handling Equipment Sales Representative. This position is responsible for selling Universal Industries, Inc. products to current dealers and users and for seeking out new accounts and markets to sell our equipment.
Essential Functions:
Experience and Skills:
Two-year degree in related field and and/or previous experience in a similar position. Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with Microsoft Office software required and ERP experience a plus.
