Cancer Care Northwest is hiring a full time Patient Advocate who is responsible for pre-authorizing services, insurance verification and eligibility, assessment of patient financial requirements, counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments.
Performs review of all treatment to be given to determine patient responsibility. Assists patients, as needed, in applying for copay assistance, foundation grants, drug replacement, etc.To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
three (3) years of medical office experience with insurance procedures and patient interaction
