The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating OfficeProject DescriptionThe Reliability Operations Identity & Access Management (IAM) ASG/SRE Vice President is a highly visible/critical role, which will be a team member of technical SME's management the stability and optimization of the Wealth management entitlement platform.

Scope includes but not limited to the da-to-day support of the organization's technology related outages, collaboration on technology projects focused on stability, optimization, business impact analysis and associated risk-related methodologies.

This role will be responsible for overall stability of the Wealth Management Entitlement platform, participation on key optimization initiatives and collaboration with multiple technical teams within Morgan Stanley.

Additionally partner with WM business units, various levels of management and staff to collect, analyze and make recommendations.

As a team member with expertise in deep analytical triage, you will provide subject matter expertise in debugging, issue analysis and troubleshooting, working with business and technical colleagues to provide reviews and recommendations to avoid any future application issues.

Produce guidance documentation, standards and procedures, products assessments, and training material including working with the various application and infrastructure support teams ensuring that they are documenting every single troubleshooting step in Morgan Stanley knowledge base system to resolve issues in a faster time frame.

You will serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provide technical knowledge in outage management and proactive solutions to improve the user experience.

#LI-CG2QualificationsThe Candidate would play a SRE supporting role in the WM entitlement management with the following responsibilities:

• Engage with the development team through the life cycle to support Application build for Cyber Wealth Management Access Management entitlement platform and working with other stakeholders in WM Data Security/Infrastructure Risk and Cyber Tech Risk
• Understanding access management and data security administration controls and ensuring they are followed
• Develop software to automate manual operational work
• Run, maintain and improve the service against established Service Level Objectives by applying software engineering principles
• Responsible for the availability, performance, change (CP) management, monitoring, and capacity management of their services
• Troubleshoot priority incidents, conduct blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of the incidents
• Analyze patterns of production incidents, develop permanent remediation plans, and implement automation to prevent future incidents from occurring through software engineering
• Facilitates maximum speed of delivery by objectively binding to error budgets of the service.
• Manage the efforts to split between manual operational work and engineering work
• Interface with Product Engineering from a development and testing perspective on current and proposed production solutions
• The workload for the position would comprise 50% supporting software development and 50% Technology Operations (the proportionate allocation might vary)
• Special project designation including ad hoc reorganizations/administration changes/environment upgrades and annual review reconciliation processing (Use It or Lose It, PII Data Masking, Entitlement Granularity Framework, Regional Re-alignment, Solium and E

• Team player for back-up coverage with rotating weekend support coverage with other IAM ManagersPrimary Skills / Must have
• Bachelors degree and/or extensive relevant experience.
• Minimum of 8+ years experience in technology or technology troubleshooting environment
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, like service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, blameless postmortems, toil reduction- Prior experience creating operational dashboards (Splunk, Grafana, etc)
• Must be able to multi-task
• Functional MS SQL or Mainframe DB2 experience Intermediate Level
• Unix or Linux experience
• Experience with Identity and Access Management
• Azure Cloud Fundamentals trained/certified
• Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel/Word/Power Point)
