SUMMARY:

RTI Surgical is global, industry-leading private label OEM with expertise in allograft, xenograft and synthetic-based implants. RTI began operations in 1998 when it spun off from the University of Florida Tissue Bank in 1998 with the goal of expanding the gift of tissue donation by pioneering tissue-based innovations that promote natural healing. Today, through integrated partnerships with customers, RTI develops and delivers restorative solutions to physicians and their patients.

As a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), RTI provides comprehensive turn-key services for development and product life cycle management in support of patients and leading medical technology companies. RTI's implants are used in multiple surgical applications including dental, spine, sports medicine, plastic and reconstructive surgery, urology/urogynecology and trauma.

RTI's headquarters is located near Gainesville, Fla. in North Central Florida's growing life sciences region, and has an additional state-of-the-art facility in Germany.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleans, mops, and sanitizes offices, break rooms, hallways, toilets, and showers.
Cleans windows, windowsills, window treatments, walls, and furniture.
Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, etc. to prepare facilities for events
Empties and cleans waste and trash containers
Stocks restrooms, break rooms, and other service areas as assigned.
May operate floor polisher or other low-impact equipment.
Follows prescribed protocols for maintaining privacy and confidentiality of protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards and confidentiality policies.
Follows prescribed protocols for safety and infection control.
Identifies areas of the facilities that need attention or improvement and submits work orders for repair.
Performs related tasks as required.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

Ability to read and understand MSDS sheets
General understanding of cleaning supplies and equipment
Safety Conscious

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Medium work: Physically handle objects up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment:
