We are actively seeking a
Continuous Improvement Director
to be based in the greater Indianapolis, Indiana area.
The Continuous Improvement Director will be responsible for leading and championing continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations.
This role requires an experienced leader with a background in the manufacturing industry, adept at driving transformational change in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive Lean manufacturing strategy across all manufacturing assets to align with facility objectives in safety, quality, profitability, waste reduction, OEE, and team excellence.
Lead the identification, scoping, and planning of strategic improvement projects aimed at enhancing business performance, ensuring zero accidents, delivering defect-free products meeting field testing standards, achieving on-time and on-demand delivery, and minimizing costs.
Drive and oversee quality process enhancements, setting and surpassing quality expectations.Facilitate and guide Kaizen events in alignment with the business plan.
Conduct thorough reviews at 30, 60, and 90 days post-Kaizen event to ensure sustained results.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail alongside strong organizational skills.
Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver training sessions effectively in a team environment to ensure facility-wide adoption of continuous improvement concepts and principles.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, or Engineering, preferably in industrial, chemical, or materials engineering fields.
