Outpatient Psychiatrist, Federally Qualified Health Center - Wapello County, IA

FQHC is searching for a fulltime Psychiatrist to treat child, adolescent and adult patients in the Wapello County Clinic. The position will provide direct and appropriate clinical care and treatment to chronic and acute patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

Provide diagnostic, prescription pharmacological treatments and non-pharmacological therapies

Document and maintain accurate records. Maintain/follow professional standards, established organizational/department policies, confidentiality, safety, and infection control standards appropriate to this position.

Collaborate with administrative staff, other medical and clinical personnel and program staff for coordinating treatment services. Order diagnostic tests and consultations and discriminates between normal and abnormal findings and makes appropriate treatment decisions.

While this is a full-time position, they would also consider a part-time Psychiatrist. The position is Monday – Friday, with No Nights, Weekends or Call. The psychiatrist treats ages min follow ups, 1 1⁄2 hour initial evaluations
