This clinical research coordinator position provides study coordination for multiple clinical research studies depending on complexity ranging from moderate to complex.Responsibilities
* Assist study team with aspects of clinical research coordination including identifying potential subjects screening subjects consenting enrolling subjects collecting managing patient laboratory data for clinical research subjects.* Collect specimens monitor study subjects assist monitoring test results ensure integrity specimens collection processing shipping storing labeling tracking etc.
* Perform data management results reporting entering information into Case Report Forms CRFs assist collection external medical records study reporting purposes identify report Adverse Events AEs Serious Adverse Events SAES prepare IRB submissions initial applications amendments scheduled continuing reviews progress reports safety reports adverse event reports communicate sponsors concerning progress billing calendar budget issues subject related problems recruitment strategies specific policies procedures act liaison between study team sponsors IRB federal state university officials regulatory agencies maintain accurate communication costs policy changes fiscal requirements other regulatory issues serve key resource research participants collaborators provide support audits monitor visits work collaboratively M-CTSU team maintaining good rapport communication research teams faculty patients families prepare organize space study related materials equipment person position will frequently traverse medical campus occasionally spend long hours their feet need move transport position clinical supplies weighing pounds hospital campus staff members expected work independently regularly exercise good judgment setting priorities resolving operational problems applying policies procedures confidentiality person may help mentor train CRC staff formal informal presentations supervision received other administrative responsibilities assigned position reports directly CRC-Lead CRC-Project Manager unit Administrator supervision exercised none
