    Description

    Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our team. The Lead Security Engineer plays a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets by overseeing security operations and engineering. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls, configurations, and protocols, as well as leading incident response efforts. With a strong technical background and communication skills, the Lead Security Engineer acts as a liaison with the business to provide security consultation and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

    What you will do:

    • Implement and maintain security controls, configurations, and protocols to protect organizational assets.
    • Lead security operations, including monitoring, analysis, and response to security incidents.
    • Act as a primary hands-on liaison with the business to provide security consultation and guidance on security configuration.
    • Manage security logging and event management systems to ensure timely detection and response to security threats.
    • Provide on-call support for security incidents and emergencies, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact.
    • Lead security incident response scenarios, coordinating efforts across teams to contain and mitigate security breaches.
    • Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, continuously enhancing security practices and procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and applications, ensuring a holistic approach to security.
    What we look for:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 8+ years of experience in technology, with a focus on security operations and engineering.
    • Demonstrated expertise in security controls, configurations, and protocols.
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in security logging and event management systems.
    • Experience leading security incident response scenarios.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
