We are currently
initiating a search for an Electrical Project Engineer with the potential to work out of any WSP office including Boise Idaho Honolulu HI or Huntsville AL Be involved in projects with our Federal Services Division team including mission-critical infrastructure design to include power delivery power generation power distribution backup power UPS system studies renewable energy MEP design and related projects and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients objectives and solves their challenges This Opportunity The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full-time at a location other than a POWER-designated office/job site Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings Your Impact: Strong team leadership mentoring excellent communication skills presentation skills motivation positive attitude and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently will be core skills for the successful candidate Our Department is growing and the successful applicant will play an important role in the development of a sustainable electrical department with staff filling roles at all experience levels The applicant will interface directly with internal and external clients and will demonstrate a proven ability to drive projects to successful completion within budget schedule constraints Responsibilities include leading design teams including sub-consultants working with federal clients on energy infrastructure projects The Project Engineer will be challenged working on multiple large small projects simultaneously The successful candidate must have deeply technical engineering skill set experience leading design teams interfacing federal clients Position requires candidates licensed professional engineers electrical mechanical engineering Who You Are Required Qualifications BS degree electrical engineering mechanical engineering accredited University Professional Engineering License ability license multiple states Seven years applicable experience technical teams US Government project demonstrated execution DB B interdisciplinary designs US Government clients Working knowledge UFC UFGS Broad understanding architectural multi-discipline coordination Ability mentor manage project scope schedule budget Candidates must excellent oral written communication willing travel domestically internationally successfully customer-focused environment Must US Citizen Preferred Qualification Ten years applicable leadership technical teams specification electrical systems building designs Solid foundation implementing CAD software AutoCAD Revit MicroStation WSP Benefits WSP provides comprehensive suite benefits focused health financial stability employees career coverage medical dental vision disability life retirement savings paid sick leave vacation personal time parental leave bereavement voting naturalization proceedings Compensation Expected Salary all locations: $75 600 – 121770 WSP USA providing compensation range company good faith believes might pay offer position based education experience knowledge skills abilities internal equity geographic location WSP reserves right ultimately pay more less posted range offer additional benefits depending circumstances related sex protected local state federal law #LI-AW1
