Summary
In partnership with our client, we are actively seeking an experience Senior Accountant with a background in manufacturing.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including financial statement preparation and consolidation, maintain and improve costs, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Prepare and maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.
Assist business partners in budgeting and forecasting activities, including gathering data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports.
Support independent auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed, such as process improvements or system implementations.

Qualifications
2+ years of related accounting experience, including cost accounting, in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Experience in financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial information systems.
Experience with financial reporting, investment, and tax accounting a plus.
Strong problem solving and process improvement skills.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
