- Control system design, programming, training and start-up assistance.
- Panel design, bill of materials and wiring schematics
- Cost Reduction; work flow optimizations to reduce pack labor.
- Identify and implement productivity improvements.
- Provide engineering, PPE, or training solutions to high exposure areas based on near miss or accident report.
- Support the design, improvement and fabrication of internally developed and purchased blow molding and auxiliary equipment
- Ability to setup and program HMI's
- Read, create and maintain single line diagrams and P&ID drawings
- 3D modeling (Autodesk Inventor)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Automation and Downstream group is seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer.
This position will be responsible for control system specification, design, programming, installation, training and start-up assistance.
The implementation of automated systems to reduce the need for end of line personnel and the reduction of operational costs of a line are the main focus of the department and its personnel.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires travel within the continental United States but not limited to. The ideal candidate must have the ability to obtain a passport.
EDUCATION:
Required:
High School Diploma Preferred:
Engineering Degree (i.e. Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical)EXPERIENCE/
SKILLS:
Required - 5 years of experience:
Any of the following PLC's:
Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Automation Direct, etc.
Computer software:
Microsoft Office, Project, 2D CAD (AutoCAD Electrical / Mechanical) Preferred but not required:
