    ServiceNow Developer

    Essential Requirements:
    • Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations ITSM/ITOM/ITBM/Service Portal etc. Familiarity and experience with Agile development practices including Sprints, User Stories, etc.
    • Designing, developing, configuring, testing, deploying and supporting solutions for ServiceNow platform, but not limited to, form configuration, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting and third-party software integrations
    • Provide ServiceNow development assistance to customers including, Experience using scripting languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, or Angular JS. Experience in multiple scripting languages desired: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Power Shell
    • Strong experience in service now integration methods and web-based API development and configuration with other systems using web services and other web based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
    • System integration experience Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side Javascript and the ServiceNow APIs
    • Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly
    • Custom UI Changes with usage of Web Technologies such as DOM, HTML changes
    • Working with business users to understand requirements and translate then to technical specifications.
    • Communicating with stakeholders and vendor support teams, analyzing integration needs, using problem-solving skills and developing solutions from scratch.
    • Creating technical documentation, including design, security, accreditation documentation.
    • Answer technical and application configuration questions
    • Implement new functionality for customers while using ServiceNow best practices
    • Collaborating medium scale projects with minimal supervision.
    • Conduct technical training and knowledge transfer sessions.
    • Assist in troubleshooting ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and release management
    • Research systems and/or programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions
    • Previous experience in integrating Service now with JIRA and other tools will be an added advantage
    • Co-ordinate with Tech lead/scrum master for duties as assigned
