  • Setting : Acute Care
  • Schedule : Full time, partial remote opportunity (1-2 days remote per week; 3-4 days per week on-site); weekend coverage as needed
  • Requirement : Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 per year
  • Position Description : A great opportunity in a 49-bed acute care hospital to provide inpatient MNT and to grow outpatient nutrition services in the community. The Dietitan will also complete patient rounding, test trays, and other activites to help promote excellent patient meal service

    Job Summary

    The Advanced Practice Dietitian provides nutritional services for the client and company. You will work collaboratively with the team and clients to ensure the nutrition plans are implemented and departmental standards are maintained.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention
  • Complies with all regulatory standards, including federal, state and accrediting agencies
  • Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies where applicable
  • Participates in facility-wide and departmental Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Programs
  • Identifies weekly treatment goals and communicates individual client needs to treatment team
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and Registered Dietitian in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, required
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required
  • Experience with computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite required
