Join Our Team as a Custodian for Night Shifts

The Building Services department at Purdue University Northwest is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Custodian within our campus community. As a Custodian, you will be crucial in upholding a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our university's classrooms, offices, research labs, and public areas.

Salary:

$15.00 per hour plus an additional $.50 for night shifts

Work Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

Responsibilities of Custodian Nights

Execute various custodial tasks, such as:
- Mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Sanitizing toilets and sinks
- Cleaning walls and windows
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including mops, brooms, scrubbers, vacuums, and more
Prepare and maintain public areas
Assist in setting up furniture and equipment for on-campus events

Preference for candidates with custodial/janitorial background
