Job summary
This role is critical to ensuring that civil, structural and mechanical installation activities are executed safely efficiently and in full compliance with project requirements The Civil & Installation Engineer will act as the primary technical representative on site coordinating between the owner general contractor subcontractors and engineering teams to drive successful project delivery
The engineer must ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings specifications and contract requirements Review field conditions provide technical direction problem solving support monitor construction methods sequencing to ensure constructability efficiency serve as the technical liaison manage RFIs submittals shop drawings field change coordination participate in weekly coordination progress meetings support resolution of technical issues design clarifications ensure proper documentation communication across stakeholders verify work complies with Project Quality Management Plan codes standards owner requirements conduct field inspections FWIP reviews preinstallation meetings track nonconformances timely corrective actions support accurate recordkeeping project management systems ACCProcore track daily weekly construction progress against schedule identify potential delays recommend recovery actions review contractors lookahead schedules resource plans earned value performance reporting support system turnover documentation precommissioning efforts commissioning punch list closeout.
