Our Operations Group in Newport is searching for a Manufacturing Operator. This Operator will be working within our Manufacturing Group on a 12-hour shift. The Operator will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor.Our Operations Group in Newport is searching for a Machinist to fabricate bundles to required specifications. This Machinist will be working within our Manufacturing Group on a 12-hour shift. The Operator will report directly to the Production Supervisor.
Set up and operate CNC machines for prototyping and production
Perform manual milling and lathe operations as required
Interpret specifications, drawings, job orders (Oracle & File Maker), work instructions, recipes and procedures
Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping
Ensure quality through meticulous checks and adjustments
Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Maintain inventory of completed products, ensuring WIP build up in area is managed properly
Fabricate products to meet established quality standards and the requirements of customers
Handle first-line troubleshooting such as equipment malfunctions, computer program issues, setting adjustments; Assure proper disposal of waste materials
Comply with all Company policies including safety, operating procedures, quality, attendance and proper on the job conduct
This position is shift work on a 12 hour Schedule, either dedicated day or nights
Lift up to 50 pounds of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures and equipment from floor to elevated positions
Reach and manipulate controls on equipment
Perform work activities with production chemicals, adhesives and epoxies, using required personal protective equipment
Operate forklift and other material moving equipment
Perform job duties at all times of the day within plant operation
D. or 10 years directly related manufacturing experience
3+ years Industrial Machining experience, preferably on CNC lathes
Good written skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with MS Office tools are required
Flexibility to work in shifts and handle occasional overtime as needed

Hourly-7
