    How youll make an impact:

    As a key member of the SiriusXM Media finance team, youll support the SiriusXM Media AdsWizz business as a finance liaison responsible for forecasting the advertising revenue and cost of revenue. This role will support the Finance Director.

    What youll do:

    • Act as an individual contributor to the advertising business annual budgeting, quarterly, and monthly outlook processes to establish targets and inform senior management of recent trends
    • Maintain and iterate advertising business-related financial models, including rolling forecasts, long-term outlook, and various ad hoc requests
    • Perform ad hoc analyses that drive strategic business decisions. Analyze data and financial and business metrics used by the company and senior management
    • Succinctly verbalize forecasts and budgets to the appropriate stakeholders, including preparing review materials. Be able to explain variances within versions and the impact of your changes to the Finance consolidation team and VP/SVP
    • Investigate variances between actuals and forecasts to understand trends and potential risks and opportunities
    • Develop relationships and collaborate with multiple departments to understand the effect of the advertising business on company initiatives that inform our rolling forecasts
    • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline monthly deliverables

    What youll need:

    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in finance roles
    • Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
    • Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately to meet tight deadlines
    • Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills; high attention to detail is a must
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable working with and articulating financial concepts to managers and senior executives
    • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • High standard for integrity required for exposure to confidential company performance data and legal contracts
    • Power user of Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient with Google Sheets and Google Slides. Familiarity with business intelligence and financial planning applications is a plus (e.g., Anaplan, Tableau)
    • Excellent analytical skills, strong proficiency in financial modeling, and familiarity with accounting concepts
    • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

    At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $85,000 to $100,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
