- Instruct EWOC, IQT, and MQT for their designated weapon systems (CCS, BH, and/or other), and IQC
- Develop and maintain training products for Government coordination, validation, and approval of IAW Instructional System Development (ISD) principles
- Obtain & maintain certifications/proficiency in utilizing each piece of SEW equipment upon completion of all required training, including existing weapon systems such as BOUNTY HUNTER and Counter Communication System (CCS) as a reference in their respective TOs and, accompanying training suites and equipment, and new SEW systems as they are delivered to Delta 3
- Perform basic troubleshooting of the equipment
- Identify improvements/upgrades to systems and make recommendations to the Government
- Coordinate students, resources, and document student performance throughout the courses, and provide validation of successful completion of training
- Assist in the recording and maintenance of results from space crew evaluations, qualifications, and certifications in Patriot Excalibur (PEX)
- Assist in the oversight of all evaluations and evaluation products
- Compile training and evaluation metrics
- Assist in the establishment of program procedures, policy, and development, and maintenance of standardization documents and memorandums
- Perform temporary duty (TDY) travel ~5 times a year
- 5 years of experience in space control training, planning, operations, or SATCOM-RF/Combat communications
- Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe applications
- Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or equivalent
- Instructional Systems Design (ISD) experience
- Weapons & Tactics and/or Stan/Eval experience
- Experience with one or more of the following units/missions: - 3 CTS and/or Delta 3 staff - 16 EWS and BOUNTY HUNTER (BH) - 4 EWS and Counter Communication System (CCS) - USSF Offensive Space Control (OSC)/Defensive Space Control (DSC) - 1st Space Brigade and Mobile Integrated Ground Suite (MIGS) - Space Aggressor Squadron - Space Range Squadron - Electromagnetic Warfare instruction - RF/Wideband SATCOM operations

General Duties:
The Electronic Warfare (EW) Instructor will provide continuity, support training, and Instructional System Development (ISD) within the Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) mission set by providing continuity, executing space control training, and developing/maintaining curriculum under ISD principles supporting all 3d Combat Training Squadron (CTS) organizations
Provides continuity and support to the SEW flights for all current, updated, or future SEW systems and SEW training systems under Space Delta 3 through training product creation and maintenance, primary course instruction, new course development, involvement in future space control weapon system capability discussions, and admin, registrar, and Crew Force Management support functions
The 3 CTS provides Initial Qualification Training (IQT), weapons system Mission Qualification Training (MQT), Upgrade Training (UT), an Instructor Qualification Course (IQC), an Electromagnetic Warfare Operator Course (EWOC), and an Evaluator Certification Training for Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Reserve Component personnel
